How to know Model Year?

Hello,

Apologies, Im a n00bcake. But, this week I will sign a novated lease for a Toyota Prado VX.

But heres the thing - Im going to get a new Prado VX - but how will I know if its the latest MY21 with the new 150kW at 3400rpm engine?

My paperwork states:
TOYOTA LANDCRUISER PRADO AUG20 2.8 VX T/DIESEL AUTO, 5D WAGON GDJ150R

So seems to be implying its an 'Aug[ust] 20[20]' model - will that have the new more powerful engine?

Because its a novated lease I dont know the seller so I have limited options to confirm - so thought I best ask the real experts (ie. Prado Point).

Also, I asked for 'factory tinted windows' on my VX - for which I will be charged 250AUD - Im not sure about this, because the VX does come with 'privacy glass' - perhaps the privacy glass is only on the rear window?

Aug 20 is the date when the new 150kW engine was first introduced in the Prado.

Privacy glass is a standard feature at no cost. It does not protect agaist UV and heat. Tinting is an after market option which is better done by specialised business rather than a dealer.

Privacy glass does protect from UV. I got the specifics from Toyota eventually stating the two UV type and filtering amount.

further, depending which state you are in, you are not allowed to legally add even clear film. Check vicroads site as an example.

What is a stated UV protection from Toyora for privacy glass and driver front windows? This topic has been disscussed previoysly I wonder if Toyota changed coating.
