I got the back windows done in a clear, over the privacy glass and then the front two tinted to match as close as they could. Came up looking a treat. Havent heard of anyone having issues with bubbling

My back windows have privacy glass which are not uv protected. So while the fronts were getting tint I opted for a uv clear to be applied to the rear of the car too

I got clear on the back - I believe that it helps cut the IR (heat) and the UV that the privacy does not -

Sorry just to confirm I am talking about the back window. Not the 2nd and 3 rd row windows. Did you get UV clear on the back window?

Sorry but some have said the PG its already UV protected, where have you found the information that its not?

I heard it's illegal to throw any filtered tint onto privacy glass as it will make it illegal. I'm in QLD. I'm looking however at also applying tint to entire vehicle with a carbon tint for heat and UV reduction.

Bought a VX in June (76k with mats) and haven't even received an assemlby/ production date. I think the chip sets are holding all manufacturers up?!

I am nervous as I believe if I take delivery of a 2021 in 2022 I will be looking more value driving it out door or trading it at 4yrs giving it is a year older. I wonder if Toyota will do something about that. The dealer seems to think nothing will change.

We have ordered silver GXL Premium on the 10/8 through Brisbane Dealer. Currently have no ETA, they are saying up to 6 months.

It all depends on who you talk to, My son often conplained about the heat in the back of our previous car, so while it was getting the front windows done the tinter asked if I wanted a clear over the back and I said yes.
