Yes I too think so. Most of the Aussie prados are the wheel back option. Hence I thought of trying my luck with a white flat tailgate VX. Any way it is too early to declare victory. Will believe when I get the keys.

I had booked a Prado VX flat tailgate early June 2022. Received start of build email 28 Sep 2022. Will post here when I have more updates.

FINALLY!!!
Last week, Friday – I was told that my Prado is on the boat on the way to Adelaide.
Yesterday, Wednesday – I got a message that Prado has arrived at the dealership and will be ready for delivery next week.
Today, I spoke on the phone to the dealer confirming day and time – it is next week, Tuesday.
Can’t wait!!!
Or should I say – you have to be patient…it took ONLY 12 months to get it.... …..

Seems CMI at Adelaide still got lots of orders waiting for production. One of my friend order 4 months later than me from another dealer and he is going to get next month. Here I m still waiting for production date update from CMI Adelaide.

I placed order for VX standard tailgate on mid Dec with CMI Adelaide n still on waiting list. Last update was I m no. 30th in the waiting list. So they still need to fill 30 order before my order. Just waiting patiently.

Looks like CMI is having a very long wait time compared to other dealers. Which colour did you order? mine is Dusty Bronze and was told last month that I am 2nd in the queue for Dusty Bronze.

Does CMI do great deals or something? Up here in NSW a VX in Dusty Bronze is $83.5k.

I went through Motor Scout and they got me this price. didn't have to visit any dealer.
