Has anyone ordered a VX Graphite anytime since December 2021 and have it already or at least have a production date? If you have it already or it's at least in Production, where did you buy it through? Have been waiting on one from a dealer in the Hunter/Newcastle region and so far, zero movement in the order.

We ordered a white VX in the last week on October. Told 4-6months at time. Told "closer to 4" by salesman. It was built this month and now has a status of in transit to Australia. I was getting very little update from the dealer. Told if not built before July it would cost us more because it would be the next year model.
Also had a mate who walked into a 300, they just happened to have due to a sale not going through.

Well still no build date but today the dealer said that September was the current 'planned date' is September. So no new info except I noticed on the computer that the snorkel ordered was a Toyota Ram Head snorkel. For some reason I thought they used Safari. Doing some googling, Toyota seemed to only talk about their use in dusty conditions and no mention of water. Now I think I recall seeing people saying somewhere that they found out later that after getting snorkels fitted by Toyota, they weren't sealed. I had assumed this was just poor installation. Obviously not.

Dear friends,
Do you have any updates about the new or facelifted Prado? I have booked a Prado VX (Wheelback option) in Dusty Bronze colour on 2nd June 2022 and now the dealer informed me that my vehicle will be delivered approximately on last weeks of Nov,2022. I don't know whether to opt the current model or wait for the update, please advise.
Thanks & Regards,
JC

I'm not sure how they'll make the 'updated version' whilst still having a massive line for the current version. Prices will go up in January so if you want to wait for the update it will likely cost you as well.
If I was Toyota, I wouldn't see a need to tweak anything. People still want the current model more than they can make. Changing things will require changes to production which will probably cost time and money.
The new Prado is rumoured not to be released in 2023: https://creative311.com/?p=147195
I just want a car. And I like the current design. New models will get new tech and probably a better engine, but could be ugly. If the current model does what you want then why not get it? There will always be a newer and better model coming out.
