Looking at getting a 2002 90 series, I have never owned a 4x4 before so I thought this would be a good entry point. Will be setting it up for camping with my family but also using it for daily driving.
The one im looking at has 310000kms and is listed for $16500, I have listed all the work that has been done on it below.
Just had major service all oils and filters. Has ARB winch bar, new Toyota bonnet protector, model specific alloy roof rack with push bike mounts fitted, canvas 2.5m awning, snorkel, brand new wheels and tyres, 50mm lift kit , UHF radio, new dash matt, sheepskin seat covers, mud catcher floor mats, cargo barrier, rear drawers, dual battery system with portable battery box, towbar, Anderson plug to rear, dual fuel tanks. Extensive service history including timing belt and lower front ball joints replaced with genuine Toyota parts.
Is this a fair price or should I wait for something cheaper? Or look at a newer prado?
Do these prado's generally make it to 500000ks? Ive seen a few at that level for sale but lots of engine rebuilds etc.
What should I look out for when I go to see the car?
Thanks for any help.
