Due to a misshap with the floods here in QLD I am now looking to purchase my fourth Prado (Previosly a 90 and two 120's).
Am thinking a new 150 series GXL Diesel. Spoke to my dealer this morning and this car (Black) 2010 plated new vehicle with cargo barrier, tow bar and floor mats, $61,300 on the road. Had a drive and was impressed, my last one (written off) was a 120 series petrol.
How does this compare with prices you guys have paid and any other general advice.
As a side note, re:Insurance. Was with RACQ and my advice to any one who would listen is to insist on agreed value and aergue till you are blue in the face about what your vehicle is worth. The assessor said that I would be paid $27,500 (Their market value) until I pointed out i had an agreed value of $39,100. He checked and agreed. said I would not have been the first person to get upset about insurance values if I was on a market value policy, so my advice, check your policy and the change it to agreed value and include all accesories etc when arguing your point.
Any way lloking forward and thanking you in advance fo advice re: pricing
Cheers
