grande for offroad?

looking at an 08 grande, want to know pro's and con's of the grande for offroad use (light - medium) planning on doing the savannah way and hopefully the cape. Would be looking at 2 inch lift plus bar work but would be mums daily drive so can't go too extreme. So grande owners have you done lifts etc to yours or is there too much mucking around with the factory suspension, I have a vertically challenged other half so must have height adjustable seat so have ruled out a gxl
Only looking at the 120 as well

There is a number of posts on the Grande for that type of offroad work, and also on the lifts. You wont get 50mm under it unless you lose the airbags.
