This one is a pack of 5 but there is only 300 LEDs per 5m. The one above is 600 LEDs per 5m. Both are IP67 rated (allegedly).

amts. I have the 600 one and made strip lights from it. Works VERY well. The lights are in my build up page (even same supplier)Cant see how the 300 will be as bright, justy not possible.

Actually received my second 5m roll a few days ago. Will probably use in the renovation for lighting under the bathroom cupboard above the sink (hidden)

That's where I got the tip from They look a bit hard to solder onto the pads. Might have to visit M.A.T.E.S. garage for some expert soldering.

See, this is how you hide 'mods' from the better half. You use the term "renovations" instead.
Better half: Something turned up in the mail today for you. What is it?
Prado owner: Oh, just some extra lights for our bathroom renovation so you can see better when you put on makeup. It was cheaper to buy 5m from ebay than 1m from the shops. I might use the leftovers on the Prado.
Better half: That's a great idea. That also means we don't have to break the land speed record to reach the campsite before dark to setup.

They were my first ever soldering experience. Turned out ok, Someone should design a soldering iron where the extreme tip is hot though. If only I new an engineer!

Thanks Matt. Now that the LEDs are here, I went ahead and ordered the 12V plug packs and some female DC sockets. Got a few non-Prado lighting jobs to do (aquarium, night lights)
