The specs appear identical to the Tigerz11 Hercules winch http://tigerz11.com.au/products/HERC...-DYNEEMA-.html but the line speeds appear to be identical to the Grande winch http://tigerz11.com.au/products/GRAN...-DYNEEMA-.html.

Are these any good?

The txt down the bottom of the ebay ad is exactly the same as Tigerz ebay ads, did they copy or is it Tigerz under another name?
Winch looks good for that price

From what I have seen there appears to be a generic winch and companies apply their own branding on it. What is peculiar sbout the above ebay ad is that the specs are identical to the Tigerz11 Hercules winch but the line speed specs is for the better Grande winch.

Personally with such a critical piece of recovery gear I wouldn't buy from eBay. I buy from these guys http://www.winchline.com/ as they know how to splice rope properly and use the quality stuff. I started with 10mm and then went to a shorter 12mm. I prefer a stronger rope and short winch pulls. I carry an extenstion rope if I need to go longer. The winch also works easier with a shorter rope, remember the max pull rating is on the first wrap on the spool not the outer wraps.
