I'm actually thinking it may be one of the huge number of faulty units that simply didn't work.
I remember him saying mrs can't tell the difference.
Also I didn't notice the difference from when I tested the vehicle and when I picked it up.
Probably why I didn't bother checking.
There is a lot of people that think they dont make much difference.
A few do like them, so makes me think such differing opinions maybe dud units????

I might have to pull mine out and see if I can tell the difference as its been in there for around 5 years. Definitely blows more smoke when connected.

Hmmm, I'm almost insulted that I would be confused with someone as low as the bloke #### is presently dealing with.
I have not ever sold a prado (at this stage), never owned a performance chip (at this stage) nor am I selling one (at this stage)...

That's him! OMG you found him. Be VERY careful dude he must be the one that sold that car and kept the chip.

Oh wait, that name comes up as a mod!. I should probably clear the air as you are new, he is my mate Check my buildup, he has one or two posts on there and may have helped me with my rig once or twice. (Doesn't mean he is trustworthy though, just less dodgy than me)

You also never do a hard days work, never sold my exhaust, butchered my exhaust and replaced it with your old rusty one, never buy me ice cream and never offer to clean my car. I don't hear you raising these issues!

Seriously, this turkey has now decided he wants to do the pain.

I have been advised by police to make statement and that this is theft.
Once I do that, I will also fill out the vcat application...
Then there is no going back, it will be time consuming and costly for him.
Unless of corse he decides to return it.....

Some people are just like that in this world and its unfortunate for the rest of us that occasionally we end up having to deal with them inadvertantly! Trying to make a quick extra buck while ripping someone off is very low... Pity there is no "list" where people like that can be registered for the rest of us to double check before entering into a purchase with.
