http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-PR...ht_1203wt_1344 Could some one also tell me if these are extra heavy duty or medium ?? I dont want the 120 to ride like a go cart....Is there a difference between the D4D set up and the petrol, also has anyone else added the extra link pins for the sway bar, I presume these give better flex in the arse end ?? Cheers Steve

Hi there AJ, thanks for that just finished reading it all. Did you end up extending your brake lines ?? Also if I read correct your lift hasnt increased over the standard OME (old man emu) shocks just given you more down travel ?? Did you end up doing any more to the front end, I read where you said it wallowed a bit after doing the rear end. So these swaybar links in the ebay add, are they about the same length as what you have modified yours to ?? or are yours still longer ?? I have taken note of the OME shock you have put up as I also dont want mine riding like a go kart. I really dont want any more then 10cm all up over standard as im really limited with roof height in my garage. I have read on PP that most seem to be getting anywhere from 50ml lift to nearly 90ml hence my question about the 80 series shock wether it makes it higher or just more wheel travel when flexing.......Thanks for the previous info......Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. Haven't done the brake lines yet, but I have barely driven it since the upgrade. My Prado often sits for weeks on end without moving as its not my daily drive.
The shocks didn't change the lift at all, still around the standard 40mm lift that you get from OME, its only the down travel that has increased.
The front wasn't any worse because of the rear upgrade, its just that I could feel the improvement in the rear and now realise that all my shocks were getting a bit soft, not something that is all that noticable as they deteriorate slowly, but very noticable when you upgrade one half.
Still reading and thinking about the front, haven't done anything yet!
i am not sure how long the swaybar links in the ebay add are, I thought they just said extended? Mine are curreently set at 30mm over standard, I might take that back to 20mm as I do get a bit of extra body roll with the longer links and in theory 20mm should still give me maximum flex. I could go out to 50mm+ longer if I wanted to but it serves no purpose!
Make sure you have a good look at the lists in this thread http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...nsion-Database it will give you a good idea of hard those springs will be and what length the shocks are.
