  • Compact Heavy Duty Jacks for Lifted Vehicles

I was thinking that there has to be a better solution than the stock Prado Jack for our lifted rigs so I had a bit of a look around and found this. It's an affordable option but I just need to find a distributor in Aus...

There are also some pretty cool Nitrogen powered compact jacks on the market in the states also like this and there is another that is a heavier duty

I have an adapter I made to go on the OE jack so I can jack from under the suspension on the front without worrying about it slipping off. Much simpler and cheaper than a new jack. I will try and take a pic tomorrow.

    Cheers Andrew

I have a 8t Weber bottle jack that can extend about 500mmm - very similar to THIS one - and I am very happy with it.

The powerbuilt unit was discussed previously

          Unfortunately, it got nowhere.

And the reviews here show that it is leaky

Just my 2cents, but I just use 1 or 2 sleeper offcuts that I carry in the drawers. This way I can still use the OEM jack.

here is my little gizmo that allows me to put the jack safely under the Lower control arm meaning the lift has no effect on my jacking ability. The adaptor sits on the top of the jack and the knob fits into a hole in the LCA stopping it from sliding off.

Add my bead breaker that bolts to the bottom of the OE jack and I wouldn't be without it.

                Cheers Andrew

Something else to add to the list of AJ120 4WD parts Andrew?
