Steal of the day?
Was surfing the internet and came across this hat I think is a bargain! Bought a 45 litre fridge including the following, insulating cover, 240 volt adaptor, 40 litre icebox 12 reusable ice packs all for the princely sum of $526 postage to Qld inclusive!

dont know what there fridges are like but ive got a 50L techni ice esky i bought about 7+ years ago. best esky ive ever had holds ice like no tomorrow, ive got other similar style eskies and they dont hold ice like the techni ice. value for money as good as anything else, very durable its had a tough lift and nothings broken on it at all. Great bit of kit

They say its the same compressor as Engel but I don't believe Engel's use a Danfos compressor.

Yep I love my ARB fridge. I actually had an issue with it early on, it was one of the first ones and had a design flaw. ARB replaced with a brand new one with the design flaw rectified without batting an eye, I wonder what service you get when you have an issue with these eBay jobs?

Dave those ebay fridges look like the Opposite Lock ones. From what I have heard they are pretty good.

Looks like the Techniice sale is still on but only till midnight tonight, that's around 33 minutes away. Just had a look at the 60L fridge, $479 plus freight, comes with a cover, 240V adapter and some other goodies.

If you are looking for savings on a fridge, the Evakool series of fridges seem good value. Several of my mates took them across the Simpson without any issues.
