I picked up a 12 month old silver rack that was off a land cruiser in excellent condition. Now to fit it once I have the time. Even-though it is a little wider it will allow me to carry some items under the rack or at last that's the plan.

I do believe the silver or alloy finish is no longer made.

How do you find the support on the overhang where there is no crossbar?

D4D the length of the overhang from the front to the 1st crossbar is 500mm and to date I haven't put any significant weight up top to date. I do intend to be throwing my black Wolf Tent and extras in a Rhino bag (large) which will be spread across the bulk of the platform and for long trips will be a spacecase for spares etc, which would be at the back of the Rack, along with water of Jerry's for fuel, so I dont see the overhang at the front being an issue

Macaroon Black is available at this price but has to be ordered in multiples of 5. Best bet if you are chasing one get in touch with the guys at TJM Brendale. I know they have about 8 black ones already on order.

Caveat emptor - TJM wouldn't ship to me, they suggested I call Rhino direct which I did. Rhino referred me to Roof Rack Superstore. I spoke with Roof Rack Superstore and they were $150 cheaper than the equivalent offer from TJM.

And to balance that experience my Jaram rack was cheaper through TJM than any of Roofracks galore, ARB or UV16.

Was that including the 6 legs for non-roof rail Prado's as per TJM Brendale's deal?

It was for the 42100-SXB which requires the SXB leg kit (4 of). Yes it was a like for like comparison.

These seem like a nice solid rack from the ones I saw last night.
