I have a pair of these for working on the Prado....gives you the height you need without having to use the ratchet mechanism, safest way to work on the Prado I reckon!
Hi Mark , yeah those ones are higher and rated to a higher load but I think these will get me by for everything I need them for. They are the pin type, no ratchet & for the price hard to pass up.

I have the same ones. I would go with the ratchet ones next time as they would be much faster to slide under the chassis and lift it up to the right height the first time round.

Most if not all workshops will not allow ratchet type stands now Andrew, they can sometimes feel as though they are locked in but when load is applied they let go. Also carrying them by the handle breaks the roll pin and stops the ratchet mechanism working correctly. Stick with pin type stands, positive locking and they can't fail!

Used hem over the last couple of days to put in new lift kit.
