  • 3 tonne trolley jacks

My (very) old jack died this week so I went to Trade Tools this morning to buy a new trolley jack. I'd seen their low profile 3 tonne trolley jack with a lift height of 550mm for sale at $198. That'll do me, i think to myself. Lo and behold, they've got none in stock, and no new stock until mid December. I trundle around to Supercheap and pick up a Kinchrome low profile 3 tonne trolley jack, but it costs me $358 (normally $399). It's only when i get home that i realise it looks like it's exactly the same as the Trade Tools jack, just a different colour chassis and sticker. Supercheap? Not as cheap as Trade Tools, but at least they had something in stock. Story of my life.

I have one of those SCA Kingchrome jacks, but I waited until they had a sale, got it for $250 ish from memory earlier this year. Only used it a couple of times but pretty happy with it.

    Cheers Andrew
