Taylors Arm NSW - Pub with no beer

Guys,

Im pretty dam keen to get the new Prado out for its first trip and want to keep it within 2-3hrs from Coffs (pref in a southerly direction) and was thinking of heading out to Taylors Arm towards the Pub with no beer.

Im after some advice or if anyone knows any hidden gems out that was as far as overnight camping goes?

Ive got no local knowledge of the area but can offer sound advice on direction to travel.....towards a pub WITH BEER!

I grew up up that way and am curious about the tracks around there too. According to the Hema map it seems there are tracks that take you all the way to Point Lookout and Ebor. Not sure about their condition or if there are any locked gates but I would love to get back up there exploring.

A hoon up the beach from Scotts Head to the mouth of the Nambucca River has always taken my fancy. There were also some tracks around Mt Yarahappani that I would check out if I get up there.

The back road from Coffs up to Dorrigo via the Cascade National Park looks cool.
