  • State by State guide?

    Hi all.

I was having a thought (yes my head still hurts) about doing Sticky: State by State folders for all of the favourite destinations.
I know that quite often if i am going to a new place or interstate, i will often jump on here and have a quick look for some tracks that are nearby to where i'm heading. They can be hard to find, as posts are by date only, not location.

I just thought that if they were all in State by State folders that it might would be a lot easier to find what destinations are after.

If it's a bad idea, i'm ok with that. Just a suggestion i was after a bit of feedback on.

    Regards, Jason.

Would be great if each trip report could be Google mapped as well. Then all you have to do is zoomed in onto the area you are visiting and click on the map markers and it will bring you to the specific trip report thread.

+ 1 to the State by State idea.
South East Queensland: Went to Bestbrook farm stay this ANZAC weekend just gone. No real 4WDing to speak of but it's less than 2 hrs from Brisbane, on the way to Warwick, just on the western (top) side of the range. Great place for the kids to get amongst the animals. Facilities are not brilliant but then again it wasn't expensive.
Would love to hear about any other great camp sites in SEQ suited for young families.

            Great Idea Jason.

Australian, I have stayed at Bestbrook and my kids have had their school camps there as well. When we stayed we got chatting with the owners and they let us up on the tracks in the property. It's steep climb up the western side of the dividing range and in parts the track leads between trees that are about the width of the Prado.

We also got access to his property across the highway. No real challenging tracks there but worth a look and had some fun with the ladies driving.

Next time your out there have a chat to the owner for access to the tracks.

So how do we go about getting some Sticky Folders done with each State as the names?

              Regards, Jason.
