Not exactly new!! Been around since 2005 atleast.
Great place though. Have you been? or are you planning to go?
These sort of places may be the way of the future for us 4 wheel drivers as more and more tracks and places are put off limits.

Heard about it at the Caravan and Camping Show at Wayville a couple of months back. Me and the lads from work have a trip planned there for late May. It'll be Prado Vs kitted out 80 Series Vs Vitara Zook!
The big bloke drives the Zook, the little fella drives the 80 and I fit in the middle

Some blokes from the Land Cruiser Owners On-Line forum (LCOOL) did a trip there a few weeks back, i couldn't make it but it looks like they had some fun. http://www.lcool.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=11261#11261
It sounds like the owners are putting a lot of time and effort into creating a good park, they organise competitions and entertainment etc.
Will have to get up there sometime and check it out.2005 TD GXL Auto

Went up to Loveday on 26 and 27th May with some lads from work. Gave the Prado it's first run off of bitumen. This place is awesome! 8) and I can't beleive it's only a couple of hours from Adelaide.
We did the overnighter and hit the manmade courses that have been made up. Then the follwoing day we did some of the tracks around the3 property. Could get to them all. Managed to get some nice tight tracks, some water passes, steep climbs and all kinds of surfaces from mud to sand to clay, all at the one place.
Definitely get up there if you have a chance. I highly recommend it
Cheers,

Here's a couple of pics from Loveday. This is my first crack at inserting pics, so fingers crossed it goes alright....
This pic is of the campsite we stayed at. It was brilliant. It was as cold as a bastard and rained all night. About 8:30am it was a crystal slear day, then about 9:30am the fog rolled down the river.

And here's a couple of pics of my dirty Prado. It got a whole lot dirtier after these were taken, but I was having way too much fun tracking to get out and take any more pics.

Hopefully these pics work :!:
Cheers,

Unbeleivable place. Also, from a Mod's point of view, are these pics alright by you size wise?
As I said, it's my first crack at dropping some pics in...

Spot on AJ ..... no more than 800 on the longest edge. Your 797 is perfect.Originally posted by AJUnbeleivable place. Also, from a Mod's point of view, are these pics alright by you size wise?

Great pics too BTW.
... but I reckon you could do with a lift ... then you could fit more mud up under the wheel arch.

A couple of small bottom outs with the Mrs on board has got the lift approved. And when we were driving the muddy track and drifting almost uncontrolably, the Mickey T MTZ's got mentioned and weren't shot down.
Now I just have to convince her about a snorkel  Shouldn't be too hard...

Nice one AJ,
Looks like a top spot and lots of fun. Must get up there some time soon.
Agree Mick, maybe an easy trip down along Goolwa Beach to the mouth or some other ice breaker to see if we all get along.Originally posted by MickLOT... Plenty of SA owners on Pradopoint now, Maybe it's time for a get together?? ... Maybe show our interstate friends how it's done

Actually there was a trip on the LCOOL SA forum to Loverday earlier in the year, about the same that the Morgan Trip occured:Originally posted by gwatts21Lofty, sorry but that is not where we went on the LCOOL trip. The trip we went on was actually around the Morgan area and not the 4x4 park being discussed in this thread.
