    latest chinchilla Trip pics

    hey guys, just thought i would post some pics of the chinchilla trip.
    Someone was right. THERE IS NOTHING IN CHINCHILLA! we went to an info place and this was there exact quote "Chinchilla has had a massive boom! built over 1000 houses this year!" i did not see anywhere near that much!!

    anyways here they are, sorry about bad quality, took them on the phone.

      How did you manage to drive all the way out there, and still arrive with a shiney black prado?

        That would be me But I notice you did manage to capture a good sunset; they can be spectacular.

        By the way, did you get any chance to check out around Toowoomba?

          haha yea it didn't get too dirty. we didn't end up doing much actual 4wd'ing, just mainly dirt roads. the photo doesn't show up the dust on the Prado. :P

          Bear, we didn't get to check out much of the things around toowoomba because we were running behind schedule but we have decided to go to toowoomba again for another trip because we liked the town. will check it out again soon!

            Wilson you visited too late! You should have been around when we were building bits of the powerstation out there, then you would have been able to see some nice toys. The station was part of the reason for the housing BOOM!



            Plenty of kangaroos though. And some aren't flat on the road.

              talking about kangaroos. WE SAW NONE! none in toowoomba, dalby or chinchilla! the first wallaby we saw was the turn on ramp to the Lindsay highway in Browns Plains. LOL
