    Hi

I found this blog/website of a couple of guys driving their diesel Prado from Melbourne to London over six months. I'm envious

        I'm not sure it's a D4D. Their website just says it's a 2005 model.
I think the older 1kz motor rather than the D4D, would be the choice of engines as they'll be travellling thru some areas not known for their quality of diesel,.
Non common rail diesels are more tolerant of lesser quailty fuels

Yep - my bad - non D4D from the looks of it.

Either case, maybe I should be shouting 'diesel power' or something like that instead!

Re: prado 120 driven Melbourne to London

There was interview with them on Saturday night on the ABC radio.
Sounds like they have had no dramas except bending a wheel.

Would be a fantastic trip to do.
