Just got back from the Cape and Old Telegraph Track. Here are some shots of the Gunshot crossing. The first is the old entry, the second is the newer and relatively simpler entry that Telstra have created, the third and fourth are of a bloke attempting recovery after trying the old Gunshot exit with a camper trailer attached (burning out his winch).

Goes to show that trailers are possible but do create extra dramas and hold ups. Better off without one up there.

Looks like a challenge even without the trailer...

To do the exit... how do you do that without doing Old Gunshot...
Or is it a case of drop down in the Telstra side and swap lines onto Old Gunshot :?:

Has anyone got a wide shot of the Gunshot area?
          Cheers, Leon
There's no such thing as a wrong turn... it's just the scenic route!

Snaga, if do a youtube search for Gunshot there are heaps of videos to give you a better perspective of the creek.

It is pretty much once you are in the creek you can take any line you wish.
"Ooops I just deleted the internet, lucky I was able to recover 99.7% of it out of the bin"

Snaga, there is an easy, easy exit turning right after dropping down the Telstra entrance. The guy with the trailer turned left because he thought he could make it out.
