  • South Coast Beaches

Here's a few pics of the Rat family's favourite camping and fishing spots east of Esperance.

On Whartons Beach with the new camper trailer I picked up in Perth a few weeks ago. Actually passed Chippy on the road somewhere near Kwinana as I drove around lost. Gotta get that satnav!!

These 4 are at Alexander Bay, about 20 kays east of The Duke

The Rat & The Rum Pig

The next access track to the coast after Alexander takes you to Kennedys, great fishing here.

Cooling off on stinker of a day. The temp gauge in the Prado was reading 49 degrees parked on the beach!!

Our usual camp spot at Kennedys, a bit exposed to the wind but only a stones throw from the water.

    Cleaning the catch.

This lake never fails for a feed of Black Bream.

Would be great to see some more PPers down this way, its a great spot.

Just wanted to say those are some great pics there Rat. The reflection in the wingmirror is a classic! We were dangerously close to moving to Esperence at one point but just couldn't secure jobs down there. City life really isn't for me or my girlfriend as we are both from the country. Went to Esperence a year or so ago and loved it there. A touch isolated as it is miles from anywhere but that is nothing compared to the lifestyle you could have there. Just magic shots mate and fish to boot! Damn You!!!!!

Terrible looking water you've got over there.. it's all.... BLUE

A fine catch and feed indeed... Definitely on the 'to visit' list. Witch is getting longer, not shorter I might add
