We were in Broken Hill a couple of weeks ago. All looked pretty dry. Before that, Gawler Ranges in September, also pretty dry. If I didn't have a heap of stuff on this weekend, I'd be back up there in a flash.
Looks like MickL is off to Morgan tomorrow, should be nice and muddy up there by now... Don't forget to bring back photos Mick!

Would love to be able to drop everything and go North for a few weeks, jeez, that would mean missing xmas, sounding better by the minute
It is all the way up to the NT border, Marla had 77mm last night. Lots of dirt roads are impassable at the moment.

We are living in Roxby (78km from Woomera from those that don't know SA), and all the rain we had in December has dried up and it's hot. Oodnadatta track is open if you are game. 4th week of over 40. I took this photo yesterday with my work phone on the drive home at 6:40pm. Tonight ABC news was saying another 2-3 deg more tomorrow with the northerly.
