The Gantry at Mount Mee

I have to take my daughter to the Gantry at Mt Mee this Saturday as a starting point for a bushwalking trip she is doing. Can any PP'ers advise me of the best route to take? I will be leaving from Ormiston in Redland City.

Jim,

Head for Dayboro, turn up the Woodford Rd and the turn off into the park towards the Gantry is well signposted near the top of the hill. It's bitumen almost all the way. You can't miss it.

Bakery in Dayboro has some nice goodies, just try not to wear any Lycra, you'll find you're attracting the wrong crowd.

As Dave said...
From Dayboro head up Mount Mee Rd and follow that for about 19 km's then turn left onto Sellin Rd... after that it's about 5.5 km's to the Gantry.

Thanks guys it was an easy find. After dropping off our daughter we did the short drive and walk down to the falls lookout, a scenic spot. When leaving the Gantry I noticed there was a Peggs Road on the right, is it an alternative route back to Dayboro?

The bakery was well worth the stop.

Just stumbled upon this map on the EPA's web site... Show's Peggs Rd... It's where I thought it was but wanted to check before making a comment.
Laceys Creeks Rd will take you back to Dayboro.

I seem to recall rolling my army 6 wheeled International Mark 2 truck, loaded with 2 tonnes of chains, down a yarma there back in 1977.

I was reversing in the dark and my guide sent me over the edge. We soon winched it back up using three other trucks and continued on. All good apart from a sore head and a crushed roof!
