Sorrento - Nice weekend Getaway

This is one of the little spots we frequent that is within about 2 hours drive from our end of Melbourne (Point Cook) and good for a couple of nights just to get away and make sure we are getting value for money out of our Jayco Camper Trailer, rather than only using it once\twice a year.

Its on the Sorrento Foreshore Camping area and unlike most of the spots there is a fair distance from the road and on a hill so we don't get to much road noise.

Anyhting Really, although with a 3 and 18 month old theres not a whole lot of time for anything apart from nappies and feeding :-)

The nice thing about this spot is you have the bay on one side and 15minutes drive on the otherside you got the ocean.

- Fishing on the bay , pier or yak i guess or you drive 15 and do some rock fishing into the surf or at the heads.
- Jetski, yak, swim in the bay
- Surf gunnamatta back beach
- Good shopping for the missus
- nice beaches

All in all a really good all rounder and easy for a quick 1 or 2 nighter
