We have no indicators but have hazards. Fuse seems fine. Any suggestions?

    Re: Turn indicators

Sounds like the indicator stalk itself.

Could be a loose wire in there or the switch in the mechanism itself. Maybe open the dash up and see if you can get to the base of the indicator stalk with a test light/multimeter

      Re: Turn indicators

Have you lost the fan and rear demister also?
We have a late model Hilux at work that blows the indicator/ fan/ demister fuse. It has an after market alarm fitted which causes the circuit to overload, blowing the fuse when a trailer is hooked up.

        Urgent !!!
Can some please guide me to the location of the indicator fuse? (2008 GXL D4D) My mate is away from home, plugged in his trailer and has blown the fuse (no indicators, no A/C fan but hazards OK). I've had a look at the fuse panels under the bonnet and under the drivers side dash and can't see anything labelled indicators. Help would be appreciated.

Edit: All good... Searched a little harder and found the answer in another thread here..http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...l=1#post261746
        Fuse is
" IG1 No 2" under the dash...My mate is forever grateful to Pradopoint....

        Regards

Check all fuses then check the flasher relay or flash unit and go from there

            Thanks Jeff
As I mentioned in my edit notes, After delving with google a little harder I found the fuse that protects the indicators. IG 1 No2 is what it is labelled. (why didnt I think of that? It's so obvious that that would look after the indicators and A/C fans...)
