Has anyone shopped at Mars Performance?

Hello.

I was just wondering if anyone here has dealt with Mars Performance. I bought for a while ago 3 sets of headlights prado 120, where one set was for me, and two to some friends. On my set, and one of his friends is a long light lens completely loose. We have been in contact with the Mars, and spoke with a salesman, and he is playing dumb or what he does, that I have no idea, but I have emailed to him for almost a month, and still he does not understand the problem. Luckily, I shopped through PayPal, and locked the money transaction, and only then were they willing to send us new lights. Is this serious shop, and have other shopped with them? Is the quality good in the products?

Yes, I got a set of HID's, they sent the wrong ones then refused to send out the correct set. I had to open a dispute with Ebay, they lied about the whole process claiming, I said they were faulty when they were just the incorrect type of globe I ordered H4, 35watt. I got H7 50watt.

End of the day I'm still out of pocket and I still have a HID kit that I can't use.

For all my lighting items now, I only go to NewPro-tech. The guy there William is fantastic and the products are the best I have seen, I've had 4 HID kits from other distributers, the Newpro-tech type have been the best by a long way.

Has anyone shopped at Mars Performance?

The previous owner of my 120 GXL bought some rear led tail lamps and I got them with the car. For the life of me I can't get them to fit. So much for plug and play perfect figment. Even took paint off my tailgate.

Old thread but ill just post anyways.

I've had the MARS Projector headlights with MARS HID Low beams and Halogen high beams in mine for a couple of months now. Had it installed at MARS in Clayton (forgot how much it was for it and install). We got it wired in so that the LEDs light up when the car is started. They do look pretty cool tho but, I wish the LEDs were brighter to see in the day.

I have been going down to my car just to check them for any bad stuff and what I've been noticing that the assembly actually didn't line up with the fender panel (the edge of the panel was actually sticking out the side of the assembly) so I unbolted them, removed them (pretty difficult with the ARB Bullbar in the way), and just moved them around to fit the panel. Then after a while, I came back down to check them and they've somehow pushed the panel out again. So I refitted them etc and they fitted flush. Been a while since I last did that so I think I stopped that from happening.

But the last time I removed them, I noticed that both of them were broken in some way. The drivers side/RH side has a broken tab that a bolt and plastic trim clip goes into. The passenger/LH side has the actual bulb housing broken and ever since then I've noticed condensation in the headlight after rain driving.

So my ending to my pretty-much-a-review, the lights are terrible build quality. With HIDs, make sure your battery has a good charge because we had to get a new battery in since we had HIDs. Those globes really suck the power. Also be prepared with some 15A fuses as I've blown the two factory 10A ones.

I think that is all I need to say about it so yeah.
