Now it looks like a Pradolux.

Wheel and tyre is approx 5 kg heavier than the BFG all terrain on standard prado mags. Not sure if the weight is in the tyre or mag.

The offset is the same as the standard Prado mag as well so no extra load on bearings or steering components.

    Rusty.

    Hey Guys

Im after some new wheels and tyres for my 150 gx, was wondering is it ok to increase the rim size to an 18 as the vx+ models has 18's or will my speedo be out, i was going to put 18x9.0 with a set of 265/65/18 on, or will i have too many dramas?

    thanks for any help

    Liam

I needed a second set of wheels to run KM2 muddies on. Bought 17" Hilux mags from a tyre dealer for $1350 for 8. These are the same dimension as the 120 series mags. Also bought 2 for the camper and 1 for the daughters Hilux as Toyota fit steel rims on the spare. Cheaper than buying aftermarket wheels and proven strength.

They are 265/70/17 I have noticed just lately that they rub only when the wheel is on full lock. They are the largest legal size which makes sense coz they fill the guard up. Sorry it has taken so long to get back I work in the outback where internet is rough at best. Hope the info helps

    Hi Brad
The quick answer is no. I'm not sure why but my computer just won't upload photo's to threads. I will upload some more photos to my profile for you. they are very sexy wheels and look great on the dark colours.

    Hi Kev
Mine came off a cooper rep's car with 5 k's on them so it was an amazing deal. The wheels are available at tyrepower in rockingham for about $450 a rim and the AT'3s are about $380.

I have gecko wheels 17x8 with a +20 offset. Cost $95 each and seem to be ok quality. Noticably heavier than the alloys though
