G'day All, going camping @ Red rock near coffs harbour at easter time and just wondering if anyone has some good knowledge of the 4wd tracks through the national parks around there? Eager to get my 150 dirty.

Hi mate,
I don't know the area at all but i'll be at armidale over easter and heading back via coffs. I'll be doing some exploring of the national parks while down there so i'm also interested in some of the areas favourites spots and attractions. -

hey mate, yeah i've been checking out google maps and nearmap, theres about 5 big national parks in the area. We stayed at Mylestom last year over christmas, whilst I didnt have a 4wd myself at the time, went out with some guys into Bongil Bongil National Park, look likes there are some decent tracks, especially if you get a bit of rain, found some challenging hill climbs and had to get the trax out. It also has direct access to Mylestom Beach where you can drive onto the beach and do a spot of fishing or have a swim, unpatrolled though. Bit of a drive south but only about 15 Mins south of Coffs, will be back again at Christmas with my fourby to explore. Very quiet too!! Enjoy

For a start- and try and get hold of his book from the local 4x4 stores.
We are staying at Corrindi as of this weekend for 4 days (love the early holidays)
Then back again for the Easter long weekend with a heap of mates.
Note there are going to be a heap of trucks out over the long weekend- Jeep club get together, a big group of Patrols and another group of Tritons.Comment

Go to the TJM store in coffs turn right at the last set over lights Isles Dr, on the corner of the intersection there is the K&J truck dealer ship there go up the street about a 1Km turn right into Industrial Dr and you will see then there. They have the book there on sum of the good 4wd track around the area. They also do tag along tours as well so ask them about that to for a challenge??
