Also, I still have problem of threads being marked read every time I shut down my browser. Or if I leave Pradopoint open on my screen for 20mins, then come back and stert viewing, all threads are marked read. Its a bit of a pain when this happens.
Note: I never click "whats new" tab
There are two things that I hate about the new PP. I recognise that a lot of work has gone into this site by a lot of people and I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I just spent over an hour putting together my rig build up, but abandonded the post becuase of these two issues:
1. When I create a new post, there is no control panel to help with images or URLs or bolding or anything beyond simple text input. What's up with that?
Admin: Did you select advanced control panel?
Lots of control panel options for editing there?
2. Seriously - 4 pictures only? (And by pictures we also mean smilies and other emoticons apparently). So 3 emoticons and 2 pictures and "POST REJECTED!". Seriously now - what's up with that?
I get that pictures make page (re)loads slow for low-bandwidth users, but then let's run a poll to see who uses low bandwidth connections?
<removed by admin, this is not a link forum!>
Sorry guys - don't mean to call anyone's baby ugly, but I am really frustrated having wated an hour of time...
Piggy: My access doesnt allow me to change any of this. Aaron will have to look at it.
Sorry if this is duplication, but my issue is very similar as post 50 on this thread. The search function doesnt seem to search properly.
* Searches for any topics only seem to only detect messages that have had a reply since the forum upgrade.
* Searching own posts via your Profile tab, only detects posts created since forum upgrade.
Im an advocate for "use the search button", but its not really working for me. Anything posted before forum upgrade is not being found in a search, which makes it hard to prevent duplicate threads.
Additionally, still have all topics marked read when I shut down browser, or if I leave browser open & inactive for about 20 mins or more. This happens on 4 different computers that I use. Using IE or Chrome.
Not really a biggy but in the "My Rig" section, I used to be able to edit the title of the thread, e.g. I could have: "Rob's '96 Grande **March 2011 Airaid Installed** "
Won't let me edit the title now (says I can do it in the "Go Advanced" section but doesn't actually change it), so hence can't update the title to include the latest news
If this can't be fixed, is it possible for a mod/admin to remove the "update" in my title?
Not being able to edit the title is also a problem in the "For Sale" section where "Sold" now no longer appears when the title is changed to notify a sold item.
Bug still exists. "Go Advanced" does NOT fix the issue. Titles cannot be edited.

I'm still posting at local time (WA) 5pm but the forum shows 8am?

When I try to log in at work it says "Welcome Bushbasher" but then reverts to not logged in status straight away, prompting me to change my password.

I still can't access any of the ARCHIVED threads via the link on the forum. Can pick them up however from either searching my posts or google searches. For example, my 'build up' thread doesn't exist on the new forum (even though it did when it first came across).
Why is this?

I can see your rig build up NTP, around number 50 if you scroll through the rig build posts, plain as day for anyone to see.

Sorry - but it definitely doesn't appear for me.
UPDATE: Think I've just worked out why. At the bottom of the forum (lower left corner), there is an option called "Thread Display Options". It seems that this is set at a default option to 'show threads from the last month'. If you change this, it affects the number of threads that are visible. Clearly, my thread was older than one month, hence why it was invisible to me.
Posting attachments does not seem to work from the advanced reply window. All file sizes limits are listed in the help window as 19.5 kb except zip files which are 97.5kb. After selecting the file and hitting the upload button it just seems to be busy for ever (not progressing). Doesn't matter whether I choose a pdf or zip file to upload. I'm using an adsl connection and win7.
