  • Group buy: Brown Davis Bash Plate SAVE $$$

    Hi guys,

Spoke to Brown Davis Automotive today. If we organise a group buy of 10 or more for the high quality bash plates these guys do they will give us a discount.

The amount discounted can not be finalised until a number of items has been decided on and enquired about, but they were more than happy to help us out.

They are $350rrp per item plus shipping. Note - it is almost 1m x 1m square in the box so consider this when thinking about postage!

Kevin from Brown Davis said these are 3mm think heavy duty bash plates and can be used to pretty much slide down tracks if required and dont compare to the standard splash guards. A necessity for anyone with a Prado i believe!

Looking for expressions of interest at this stage but i am more than happy to negotiate a deal and organise payment collection if there is enough interest.

(mods - please feel free to move this if it is the wrong place)

    Chris

yep, they make them for 90 series and 120 series... I had a look at the other thread but people seem to be going different directions. I spose if we keep this thread only to obtain a group buy on brown davis and if we could get 5 or more people wanting one i can still price it as a small group buy.

I don't think ATS do a 90 series bash plate, so I'm in for the Brown Davis one. Any idea on what the shipping would be.

                Chris,

Do they make engine/transmission protection plates for the 150 diesel?

Going by the website ononly for the 90 and 120 - i dont know enough about them to know if they'd fit. you may have to enquire yourself about this.

I was just on the superiorengineering site, and the sell the plates for $375 (90 series) and $400 (120 series), if you live in S.E qld this could work out cheaper.

I would be keen as this would be better than wrecking (even further) the standard ones

                      cheers

I would also be very keen in this group buy as i am looking to purchase in the next month or so after completely destroying the original "Splash" Plate 3 weeks ago. had to take it home in the back of the car as it fell right off.

                        Cheers

Im up for the plates, 3 of them I believe for the 120, first one is for the genuine bullbar (soverign) to radiator support panel (only small), then the sump, then the transmission. You can add me to the list. Let me no how you go. Can I also say the brown davis plates are fantastic, I had one on the 90 and definately saved the sump more then once.....Regards Steve

                          Prado 120 radiator guard $198

Prado 120 front sump, steering and diff guard $351

                          Prado 120 transmission guard $209

These prices direct from their website....................
