  • Simple Battery Isolator

A friend of mine made this up for me yesterday.

You have your positives on your duel batteries connected via a heavy duty cable. But you put this between the connection.

If you get a flat battery or want more power for winch etc then you just back off the plastic nut, pull out the clip and then tighten it back up.

If you want one, email Steve at [email protected] they're $5!

He has cool plastic cutting machines so anything is possible. He also made up classy black mounts for my cb radio.

    Cheers, Chris

looks simple enough. cheap too so good idea for those that need it.

      where is your friend located?

you also need to put in your location

if he was local i would love to see what he could do for extra storage in my prado

      cheers....

sorry when i said storage i meant in the front. its hopeless for storing your phone, other keys, and whatever you have that you dont want to lock away in the back. you cant even put your drink anywhere safely out of the way. it would be great if there was a way of remodeling the plastics into a practical setup

Good idea, but presuming you run dual batteries, you've got an isolator (projecta/red arc or similar) and don't all of them already come with an override switch? I know mine does, just thought that all of them had it?
