    Using search and closing threads

    A thread on HIDs has now been closed twice by an admin without addressing the problem that the search function isn't working properly.

    For the question on HIDs I wasn't able to find the previous threads either, so saying its been discussed and just closing the thread doesn't help.

    Is there some way of getting a search result for short words like "HID"?

      I looked at that and it doesn't address installation only adjustment, still looking...

        There is currently only one person doing any moderation/admin work on PradoPoint and that is Piggy. You may want to address your concerns to him in a PM. All the other Mods have not had any privs since the upgrade of the forum.

                  I find the Google search on the Pradopoint site to be very effective. Try this URL

                  http://www.google.com.au/advanced_se...bo=1&tbs=prv:1

                  I used it to search for "HID" and returned 31,000 hits.

                  Whereas when I searched for "HID" using the Pradopint site search feature, the unhelpful message returned was:

                  "The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search: "

                  The advanced search returns the same message.
