I would like to share the below with you,
I have been advised by someone what works for Toyota Motor Corporation Aust, that they are replacing dashboards that have cracks, especially in the QLD region.
Apparently a huge number of owners have complained and they decided they would extend the warranty and replace due to the negative publicity that this could cause.
They aren't promoting this to save costs, typical multinational company.
They will try and make you pay for the installation, however if you push hard enough they will come to the party. If you get any resistance, write a letter to the TMCA President, Max Yasuda and also send a copy to the Japan head office, you will definitely get a favorable response.
At a last resort, contact Today Tonight and / or A Current affairs.
