  • Speedo Question Cable or Electric ?

I am looking at installing a cruise control on my Asian Import 1997 Model, Toyota Prado
I have been asked by the suppliers abount what type of speedo I have , I.E Electronic or Cable driven. I cannot see any cable going through the firewall of the car. I have looked with a tourch under the car and cannot see any thing. so I guess that it is electric. but I need to be a 100% sure as I will be ordering the parts from a mail order. and need to include all the correct items with the purchase .

Is there any way to check make a positive ID?
    Many thanks
    Justin

Both (speedo and ECU/CC) speed sensors on the 90 series are electric.
