Same as me AMTS. I have east west HD rails and all three look pretty level to me. Can't see why they wouldn't line up. Gepps cross had about 8 in stock, bit they'll go quick.

I have the older type Rola sports racks, the middle bar is slightly higher than the front and rear, I beleive this has been fixed with the newer racks but people such as myself with the older ones may find the racks aren't level.
I think they fixed this with the newer ones by putting higher feet on the rear bar.

One issue I have been looking at is the ability of the ARB awning to be able to have the fly-wire sides. I reckon this could be the deal breaker.

Does this awning have the fly-wire sides option? I cant see it on the web-site but someone may know the answer?

Picked one on the way home tonight. :-), only had a chance to pull it out of the box. A lot longer than I thought, held it up to the roof racks and looks like a great size. I have the 3 bars, so if anyone works out a 3rd L bracket option let is know? BCF Taren Pt, NSW also had about 8 tucked away in back corner, manager was telling me it was an absolute bargain.

I'm going to have a crack at installing the brackets on the underside of the rails. Don't think it'll work, but we'll see.

don't know if oz trail have the mozzy screen but you can buy the screen from ARB it should fit straight on , cost $145 , either way your ahead by $125 on the ARB awning which is exactly the same .

don't know if oz trail have the mozzy screen but you can buy the screen from ARB it should fit straight on , cost $145 , either way your ahead by $125 on the ARB awning which is exactly the same .

I picked up an Open Sky awning from ARB last year for $190. Could have had the ARB awning but they didn't have any in stock at the time. I think the standard price on the ARB awning is about $235-245.

ARB quote for 2.5m awning was $321. The 3 sided mozzy screen was around $130. Plus 2 x L brackets at about $30.

on the front edge it fits into a slot , the sides clip on . ill have to check , ive never put mine on . i do remember seeing it at ARB but i seem to have killed the brain cell that held that information .

I found this instruction manual for the ARB 2500 awning. Not sure if it is the same as the OzTrail or not. Haven't been game enough to take it out of the box for fear of the missus finding out.
