        Ripp Off

Every time I have been over the last few years the so called specials have been dearer then over the phone quotes I had received the day before. I tried them out last year. I wanted 2 inch OME lift supply and fit, over the phone quote couple of days prior, $1600, show price $1650 + fitting. Waited for a couple of weeks and got a price of $1500 supply and fit from their Wentworthville store........ Same with Locker for the rear, I might do a drive by to check out the crowd but unless there is some massive saving some one mentions, waste of time. Had better specials at the Eastern Creek show last year..............................

I can't imagine the discounts will be real special as i think a few $$$ have been spent aquiring the site and then constructing the building,so they will need to recoupe a bit of the expense.I have seen the site while it has been built and it is a good quality showroom/workshop.

Yeah Glenn both friggen useless, Penrith stuffed my cv while fitting the OME had grease and shit everywhere from Penrith to home (1o mins away) then they tryed gluing it back together with quickgrip (spelling) that yellow crap untill I told them to fix it properly with genuine part, after 3rd visit got it write, thought id try a different store, hmmm just as bad if not worse, stuffed bashplates, fitment of snorkel, etc. Was compensated for it and the salesman was a nice bloke but they need to get on top of there quality of work and the blokes need a kick up the arse and do the jod write instead of frigg arsing around thinking they know everything, mate if I was running one of those stores nothing would be driving out the door without total check over by myself and if bodgy shit was done they would be getting an instant warning to lift there game or piss off, but seems like managment dont really even care. While I like there OME product and other products they sure as shit wont be touching the new prado, I wll get the OME supplied and fitted by some one else who buy the way are cheaper. Have a word to Bigfella or Lacey and see how much they spent with them and what sort of job they got done on there brand new D4D at the time. Spent a fortune with them. Laceys not backwards in coming forwards, she will tell everybody and anybody what she thinks of them lol......................Have seen a few complaints about the quality of there bullbars lately, mmm maybe ironman will start to get some more customers, ny neighbour spent over 10g on his 200 series limited anniversary turbo diesel cruiser with the wentworthville store, wow did they have some explaining to do, my neighbour had to take it to head office to be rectified, Im mean come on, wether the vehicle is worth 100k or 5k they should or be treated the same way when supplying and fitting their product....... Ill be doing the snorkel myself this time anyway, save $170 and do the job write the first time, anybody who saw the pictures of the 95 diesels fitment of the safari snorkel will know what Im referring to..............................

Im heading out there tomorrow after being promised a big discount on a fridge, Im definitely not getting my hopes up but I will go just in case and if its worst case scenario, then I have the pleasure of giving them an earfull for wasting my time!
Walk next door and check out the new Ironman fridges instead!

That would be sweet wouldnt it, being parked in plain view of everyone in ARB carpark loading up Ironman gear into the Prado

I have had work done at Penrith and Wentworthville with no dramas at all. Sometime shit happens, it does everywhere, it's the end result that matters.
                        Cheers, Terry.

Yeah I aggree Terry but they are extremely lucky with my snorkel, had I not noticed the rattle and pulled the inner guard out to see why, a snorkel hose hanging down, no silastic not even conected, the end result would not have been pretty had I done a crossing and sucked a gutfull of water in in the outback some where there would have been some extreme shit hit the fan let me tell you, this was besides the other 3 stuff ups they did over a 2 day period of having my prado. Acceptable, ?? Not a chance............
