  • ARB- great product acceptable service

Well i am onto my 5th ARB bullbar. 2x landcriusers, 2x hilux and 1 Prado.

I ordered my deluxe winch bar over 2 weeks ago from a non-ARB dealer because it was $500 cheaper.

My supplier has been great and has got on the phone to ARB while I have been with him. They said that the bar would be about a week to be painted and elivered to Tassie. No problem sounds fair.

2 weeks later it has finally turned up, and I have launched into fitting it. (Photos and description to come on compleation). I get well into it and removed the front of Hillary(Prado). Bolted on passenger side bracket and whoa the drivers side is wrong...

Bugger they have supplied 2 passenger side brackets

Well a quick phone call later and they are apoligetic but say that they can't get another bracket to me before Friday. No good to me my car is in bits all over the garage!!

So I guess I now wait till Friday(Don't expect it to turn up) and see what happens.

They did want the work order for my bar so the person responsible for packing it will get a wrap on the knuckles!

Would not be so bad as these things can happen but its the second time its happened to me! The first was on my old hilux. They delivered the bar 3 weeks late.

Yes i should have cjecked it was all there first off but I did that with all the nuts and bolts so I thought these large brackets would be there.... ops:

So i will what turns up Friday and let you know..

Glad it worked out in the end despite the mix up. I edited your topic title. :-)

Well has been nearly a week since I emailed ARB with photos of my bullbar and the fitment of the covers.
Have not heard boo from them yet but will hold my tongue for a few more days after my last slip! ops:

My little whinge. I had ARB on the Sunny Coast instal dual battery. Needed to also hook into the Anderson plug for the van. After much problems with power to the van I recently took it to specialist auto electrician who pointed out 4 !!!!! different connections in the wiring meaning I was losing most amps before it reached the Anderson plug. Also wiring was too light to carry decent charge. I expected better.
