  • Reason for a Sickie

It's cold, I am tired and I just don't want to go into work today................. So I am going to wash the Prado, maybe even polish it and show it some love.

No sick note required, I just forwarded the post to your boss. He said he "understands" and realises how important a clean rig is. Even muttered something about tryin to free up more time for you, what a great boss!

I vote this be added as a policy to the 4WD First Party.

Anyone who has had a 'dirty weekend' is allowed a sickie on the following week to clean ones Prado.

Good to see you are "on top" of all things political. Perhaps the policy may need revising to include "self work generating" activities for cleaning maids.

Petcar1, if you can drag yourself out of your sick bed, the relevant thread is: http://http://www.pradopoint.com/sho...itical-Thread)

Crooza you still need to be able to take the said Prado somewhere for the Bikini clad girls to wash it right? hence the need for the day off you can't just drop it off and go to work. What would be to pint in that??

Andrew, petcar1 one said he was going to wash it, and you agreed. We can't let that happen...lol
I agree that we are able to watch the girls wash the Prado (from all angles), and if it takes a week for them to do it (and do it to your satisfaction) then so be it.
Maybe there should be a sub clause in the policy, that the girls may travel to your house (the wife/girlfriend or both, can participate or leave the premises at your discression).

Actually I had a ripper of a day, I even phoned the boss and said I was not coming in 'cause I I wanted a day off to just relax and chill without the wife and kids.

So I washed the Prado, detailed the interior, had the door seal fixed, even polished the beast as well. Then I had a snooze, watched the Telly, cooked a steak on the barbie left the dirty dishes in the sink for a few hours and spent the afternoon laying on th lounge chair. I cannot remember the last time I had such a bloody great day.

As such I would like to nominate myself for the post of "Minister for Rest and Receration" I promise to encourage the use of productive sickies and mandatory nanna naps for all prado owners

I would have thought the cfmeu would shun a member doing anything untoward?

Well I have to join this as I,m sick of every one else from having sickles and leaving me to do all the work,Some examples of there excuses are.Conjunctivitis that only lasted Two days with on effect to the eyes when he came back to work,Then my ex has had a car accident and I have to drive to MountGambier to look after the children, but don,t her parents live there?.The other one is my car boiled as I left the radiator cap off,and it was on the coldest day that we have had all year.Well nothing I can do that is the pitfalls for working for a multinational company.
