Car service Newcastle

I have a daughter who is living up at Newcastle for uni and the car that dad sponsors needs a 70km service ,it is a 08 Mazda2.We would normally get it done back home by our trusted local mechanic on her return visits but as it is due and she's not back for a while i thought i would get it done up at Newcastle. So i am wondering if you folk up there can recommend a mechanic around the area ,she is at Shortland so nearby is what i was looking for

Hey Russ,

I know the feeling well, I have a daughter at Newcastle Uni as well. She's been there 3 years and has managed to write off a Starlet and a Barina in that time.

Can't help you with servicing...... she hasn't kept one long enough to get a service......
