  • Waeco Thumper Info

    Hi all
I just scored an old Waeco Thumper 76 Ah with built in 600W inverter (for $71) and it looks rather shagged and the batteries are cactus but my intention is to rebuild it and fit new batteries.
For the life of me, I cant find any specs, schematics, not a thing searching with google.
    Seems very odd.
I havent got it yet, apparently it does work but the batteries wont hold charge

Has anyone got info on these things, specs, brochures, schematics, info and how old do you reckon it may be?
Anything would be a great help.
    Thanks in advance.

Dunno, Im just hoping I can find some info so I can rebuild it and use it to power a fridge and use the 240 outlets for the camp :-)
Just seems odd that I cant find any info on it.

Was there a response from Waeco head office or one of their service agents?
        Cheers,

Nah, nothing, its like they dont want to know about it since its a few years old.
Ive contacted Home of 12 volt who I think made these for Waeco but havent had any responses yet.

Worst comes to the worst, Ill just rebuild, its not rocket science, quite simple in fact, but was just hoping to get some pointers, advice, facts and figures about it before attacking it.
