I'm looking to get a DVR Cam and to save turning it on and off would like to just record large sections then split it into smaller parts. Can anyone recommend a free utility to split AVI files?

Thanks, the only ones I've found on Google so far you have to pay for - have to keep looking.
I use that program ^ - Easy Video Splitter. Its extremely easy, and it works. Best of all... its free
Thanks mate, funny - I downloaded that exact one earlier and when it installs it says you can use it for 7 days then you have to buy a license - from the way it was written it implied it wouldn't work after 7 days although the link you have for downloading says it's free.
