Everything is useless against thieves if they want it. Car... home... business... Nothing is safe anymore

Yep I can undo mine using the key to my wife RAV, so they are not very key specific!!

I knew there was a reason I don't live in the city.

That's the great thing about living out here - low volume crime and most stuff is taken from insecure utes and unlocked cars because the locals are basically too lazy to break in. And the owners who lose stuff are usually too lazy to park off the street and secure their valuable gear out of sight. As for stealing spotlights, side-steps, etc that's pretty much un-heard of.

I wish someone would come to my place and steel my side steps so I could justify replacing the bloody plastic crap with something a bit more metally.
2008 Diesel Prado with extra stuff added. I drive it on the road and other places too.

                  Hi there,

I have just joined Pradopoint today because I wanted to share a story with you. I went to get into my 2008 GXL last Thursday morning for work only to find that the small window on the passengers side rear door had been smashed. upon opening the car I found that thieves has stolen the third row seats, Steering wheel, wiring looms including cruise control leavers etc., Light fittings and emptied out the center console. I had the car towed to Toyota at Waterloo by the NRMA and have now been given a quote of $12,800 dollars for parts and with the cost of labor the total will be above $14,500.
I wanted to post this as a warning for people in the Inner West, I live in Stanmore. The car was parked out on the street directly in front of the house, I didn't hear a thing. I had the spare wheel stolen about six months ago and now have a motorbike chain on there to stop it happening again. I guess now I will have to get an alarm.

                  Regards
                  Matthew

A 4/10 gauge shottie and some bird fright will send the mongrels packing.
