  • Mud bashing a 120 series

    Hi all,
Just wanted to share some photos of giving the farther inlaws 120 series a bit of a run through Riverstone after a couple of days rain. The BFgoodrich's held up great and their was a few close calls in some of the deeper holes with out a snorkle. Over all we had a couple of fun hours.

Number plates and only two bolts never seem to survive the water crossings Hope you brought it back to the FIL nice and dirty!

I guessing these pics were taken on the crown land on Loftus street in rivo. Its not a very big area, but there is plenty of fun to be had.

I wouldn't mind organising a PP trip out there but there wouldn't really be enough to keep everyone entertained for a whole day....

Good trips are the one's where it rains, washing the mud off before you get home resulting a quick hose off underneath

Yes it is a fun little area but only when it is wet. We went back a few days later after the brother inlaw also picked up his 90 series prado and gave it a run.

After destroying a starter motor, radiator and clutch mud bashing, I stay out of it as much as I can now.

Yeah, it's one of those very fun things you do in the beginning, until the costs start rolling in

I used to love going in the mud, till I had to replace two idle pulley belt tensioners!
