    A 29-year-old mother has been killed in a freak accident in Western Australia's mid-west.
    Police say the woman was sitting in the passenger seat of a car with her partner, who was attempting to tow a friend's car out of sand at a beach near Geraldton yesterday.
    The rope was attached to a tow ball, which broke off and flew through the front window of the car, striking the woman in the throat.
