National Luna or Norcoast Trailblaza

I have a 150 gx prado with outback drawers, outback cargo barrier and built in outback slide. I have narrowed down my fridge choice to National Luna 52L weekender 385(w) x 710(l) x 506(h) or the Norcoast Trailblaza 50L new range model 450(w) x 760(l) x 585(h). Has anyone got these fridges and will these fit in the back of my car nicely? Its hard here in western australia to see a Trailblaza which makes it hard to make my decision on a it but i have heard super good things about them. Please give info on these fridges or try and talk me out of both.

This is my NL Weekender in a 120 series. Few more photos in the diy drawers thread that mumsrig started if you want to search. Can give you dimensions etc but the car is 7,131 km away at the moment give or take a few km so if you can wait I can get you info when I get home.

Very happy with the NL. Also used a Trailblazer (70L) in the past. Both good fridges but the Trailblazer is very big and heavy in comparison.

Yeah I like the NL weekender but a mate wants to go trailblaza if we are spending that much. Thanks for your input.

Both are good fridges so the simple solution to your question is grab some cardboard, a tape measure and masking tape.
Fold up the cardboard to the fridge dimensions and see how much room they will take up.
You will find that the extra 80 mm of height an issue I would say ..especially when opening while still in the back if not slid out & ensure the slide will take the fridge past the door "frame" to allow full opening.

I might be wrong but I believe the extra size of the Trailblaza is due to the extra thickness of the insulation .. which should improve performance (less power consumption)
