    Hi all just got back from camping My car 2008 D4D DP chip Auto towing 17.5ft Jayco Discovery Outback loaded car loaded used 47lt my mates 2001 V6 Auto Prado towing 5m Alloy boat car loaded used 90lt we went the same way and drove same speed GO THE D4D

        Interesting... last Easter we did a touring trip into Nthn NSW, all diesels and one petrol, all filled up in Casino and all did the same drives as a group, varied from highway fully loaded to low range empty with no camping gear. From what I saw we all had about the same equipment and at the first refill the petrol (my 150 auot GXL) took 121lts, the diesels according to the Scanguage had used 106lts, this was over approx 800k's.

        So how do people measure economy, and how relative is it service costs and fuel are more expensive?

          Bit further Australind just a quick get away bit hard with school my roster and my mates roster to get away these days

            For me im more interested in getting km out of the tank I normally drive at the speed limit and if I get more kms between refills then that works for me the price of fuel doesn't concern me to much diesel works for me
