This is what I tried to post on "Hard Wheel cover" thread without success.

        IMG]http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z115/Pedro125/Hardwheelcover.jpg[/IMG]

Any clues as to what I did wrong.

I don't know if you missed it when you copied and pasted but you don't have the first [

trying again to post a comment with my picture on the side.

Sorry for this. The last one was rubbish. It would not allow bmp as others have, so I am trying a gif.

                    Picture posting Test

Hi guys If you read this I am just trying to work out how to post a picture. This Toyota propably looks a bit like a 100 series however I have a Prado on order. Picking it up in 3 weeks. Thought I better get this picture posting organised because I love taking pictures of my cars. Thanks Matt

Awesome I am trying another. I am trying to workout if the size of the original picture determines the size of the pic in the forum. Here is a picture of my first D4D second one is due in 3 weeks.

Hey B'man ... ya nailed it. That's how ya post a pic.

As ya get a bit more practice ya can start resizing images, loading dozens of pics into a trip report etc ...

                        It's all good fun.

                        Cheers

                          Hey B'man

Ideal size for a full page display pic should be 800 x 600

Just helps those poor buggers out there with slower 'puters and dodgy monitors. 8)

                          Cheers

                              Hey B'man

Your Hungy pic is 1024 x 680 pixels.

Your D4D is at 640 x 480 and so is your green machine.

The pic of my bus is at 800 x 600.

Any decent image software will allow you to resize an image by specifying the number of pixels. That way you can always get your pictures to the size you want.

As for displaying on the forum ... that is also going to depend on your monitor resolution. All 3 display fine for me .. but anything bigger than 1024 means having to scrolll across to see the whole pic. Many older machines will display 800 x 600 fine but will have to scroll across for the Hungy pic.

Sounds like you've got a handle on it though.

                              Cheers
