Re-capping on the part of the conversation that turned to rego stickers before... I never fix rego stickers on my car bcause I hate the look of them on either the windscreen or the rear side window and removing old ones is a pet hate of mine. I toss the sticker in the bin when I get it and keep the receipt in the car. If a policeman ever asks where it is I'll tell him my windscreen just got replaced and am waiting on the replacment sticker in the mail. As for authorities checking if your car is registered, they'll always run your rego plate through their computer which also gives up other useful information, or the lack of if you've been behaving.

You do realise, that the police can check up if you have ordered a new rego sticker or if your telling furbys.

I think the chances of that happening would be next to none as they'd check to see if your registered in the first place by checking your number plate and police have more important things to do like hang out at Gloria Jeans or Subway haha.
